Step by step

Go to dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens (sign in, or create a free account first if you don't have one).
Click Create Token.
Under templates, choose Read all resources — this connection only checks your account for now, it doesn't change anything.
Click Continue to summary, then Create Token.
Copy the token shown on the next page — it's only shown once, so don't navigate away first.
Come back to this page, paste it into the box above, and click Connect.
